I found this stripey orange fabric remnant and felt the need to pick it up. I almost never do anything with orange.  But was darn near compelled to make a market bag.  So I dug out an orange fat quarter that I never used and made a huge market bag (no lining or anything just a good solid, need-a-bag bag). I used the orange fat quarter to make handles that went all the whay down the sides and strengthened the bottom.  So far it's making a great beach tote.

but I had fabric leftover and a warmed up sewing machine.... Wink

So I dug around my scrap pile and found a zipper and some sean binding the same color as one of the stripes. I made a cute little purse with zipper closer, outer and inner pockets and handles that match the market bag.

But I still had leftover fabric...  Wink

But I was running out of time in the day so I whipped up a little drawstring bag that I haven't decided what it will be used for yet.  (Most likely it'll be for carrying my daughters food to day-care, since I keep having to grab a plactic bag in the morning to throw in the baby food.

So now I have a great little set of matching bags for all sorts of uses. yay! Cheesy
