I was trying to make the blankie big enough for Caleb..then got carried away trying to use up leftover yarn! Doggie love and recycling YAY! Hope Caleb doesn't mind that there are a few girlie colors in there.

Nah, he shouldn't care, dogs are mostly color blind. I'm sure he loves it! BTW cinnamon_teal, Caleb is getting big, and he's so handsome!

I love all the cute dog blankies Smiley

I have to second the fleece rope thing - Simba still hasn't torn up the one I made him. Plus, it's great for playing tug o war with the neighbors puppy!  Cheesy

Yup... and even if he knew it had girlie colors, he wouldn't mind.  People used to think he was a girl all the time.  You could call him a little sissy kittycat as long as you pet him and gave him cookies.

And he's loving his new fleece tugs.  He keeps carrying them around. Cheesy

I know!  Isn't he huge!?!?!

Here's a picture of him at about ten weeks with my hubby:

And here he is now at 8 months:

I can't believe how big he's gotten!  And he's still growing! Shocked

He still thinks he's a little puppy and he'll try to cuddle up in my lap and totally knock me over. Grin He's just a great big love bug.

Since busybeastie's pups can't sit still for some decent action shots lol I thought I'd share the pictures I have of what I sent.
This swap was really fun for me, ever since i adopted my georgie last year I'm constantly designing something new for him. But this time i got to make cutesy things for a girl doggy!

First, a modified version of my sweater pattern turning it into a dress

Next, a completely new dog pattern I came up with, inspired by those cute "circular" style boleros

And for each one of those boleros, i made a matching scarf (white one not pictured)

I started making two of everything because I found out last minute that she just got a new puppy, and even though she said I didn't have to I didn't want to make the new pup feel left out. So I made one small and one medium sized pillow out of fleece and linen

I also made this random oblong shaped fuzzy toy out of fun fur and NYLON cord. She said elliot loves plushies but i used nylon cord to make it stand up to lots of abuse.

And finally i threw in a cute pink camoflauge lunch box tin and filled it full of treats (including the infamous chocolate chip and vanilla cookies that my husband's friend actually tasted because they look and smell like the real thing!)

I hope elliot and the new pup liked everything, and i hope to see some action shots soon! Grin
