I got my package from TwistedTruth today and amongst the house cleaning it really brightened my day.

Here is a group shot. You can see I got a great picture TwistedTruth drew of the front of the Mayfair Mansion. I'll be on the search for a frame. Also a little extra, keychain from Paris to remind me of Armand.

You can see the front side of the orange needle book that says Anne Rice Fan. Here is the back. A great likeness of Armand!

My very own Lestat ami!!! Isn't he dashing! Hubby thinks he's creepy!  Grin

A great long super soft scarf for me. I love orange! Can't wait for cooler weather. Sorry no action shots, I've been cleaning house all day and am less than gorgeous!  Roll Eyes

My 3 poppets even got matching scarves!! They just wore them for the pic and then insisted it is to warm for scarves. They will wear them this winter for sure!

Thanks so much TwistedTruth I love everything! Great swap!!! Thanks Ecstatic for organizing!! Can't wait to see more Anne Rice goodies!

I love that needle book. And I love Lestat. He's creepily dashing. Or dashingly creepy. Wink

What a fun idea - matching scarves for your poppets.  Cheesy

On a side note - both of you should have feedback now.

Heh, I'm sure it won't be long.  Cheesy

I knew aliismynameoh would get hers first - she's like an hour away from me. I could have driven it there faster, lol.

I'm glad you liked it, and it got there in one piece. Smiley

On another note - as you all know, I'm in Louisiana. Though, I'm an hour outside of New Orleans ... the chances are very good that my power and phone line will be cut once the hurricane hits. They're predicting it may be just as bad or worse than Katrina. I didn't have power for 10 days after Katrina.

So, if you guys don't see me around next week - I'm without power. I haven't disappeared and abandoned you all. Smiley

And I will be back as soon as I can to update everyone, post pics, etc. If I'm without power for a super long time, and you need feedback ASAP ... I think you can always PM a moderator.

I got your package, Ecstatic! Actually, I got it like... Thursday... (Pictures will be posted soon!)

I have a package to send to you, but if that's the case... Should I just hang on to it? (Just in case?) I don't want it to get lost or anything.

Also... Good luck! I hope it's not to bad!

You didn't have to send me anything. Not that I'm complaining. Wink

I would hang onto it, yes. Until, at least, Thursday or Friday of next week (or this coming week, rather). Usually a few days after a hurricane, things start picking back up, and the post office is back in business.

I'm feeling optimistic and thinking it won't be so bad in terms of power. But, that's what I thought about Katrina too, and wound up with no power for 10 days and a tree in the house.
