Nice job! I like the graphic images on the back sides...

Now, I'm doubly anxious about the ones I'm making...

Nice stencil work!

It is actually an iron-on fabric! I thought it was stencil too when I first saw it, but then I noticed that it had texture!
Iron-on fabric?  What is this you speak of?  I must hunt it down!   Grin
I don't think that I have ever seen it! I am, to be honest, not entirely up to date with todays crating material. I thought that it must be something that you can buy, but there is that lovely floral fabric that can't possibly be a commercial item! We will have to ask freakytreats.

Hi, all. First, I must aploigize for being out of the loop this week.I didn't notify my partner or the swap master that I had even sent the undies. Also, thank you to my partner who posted both the photos of the undies I sent her and the undies she sent me. Best partner ever.

How I made them:

         1. I traced the images onto HeatnBond iron-on adhesive( I found it at Wal-Mart in the sewing section. it's about $8 for 5yds) It's my new favorite crafting material

         2. I ironed the image onto some old t-shirts ( t-shirt material doesn't fray)

         3. I cut out the image and ironed it onto the undies

         4. The lettering is fabric transfers I made

Basically, it's D.I.Y. iron on fabric. I also dyed some of the undies which was a failed expierement. I tried to make 1970's colors, but no such luck. and finally I painted some of the waistbands with fabric paint.

Thanks, for your patience everyone, and again special thanks to my fab. partner.

That is a really cool idea! I really love the effect it gives... I am going to have to give this a try!
ALSO, I would never look at the dye job as a failure!! I love them and I think that dying them just put them way over the top in the awesomeness factor!
