I made another skirt! This time I used a pile of my white and blue scraps, and some very nice silk dupioni which was definitely not a scrap to start with - just a product of a frustrating failed dress (haven't we all been there...Or am I the only one who refuses to 'measure twice and cut once'?)
Anywho, on to the pictures.  I was so excited when I finished last night that I wanted to take pictures right away, so here are some 'on-the-hanger' pictures.  Action shots will of course follow.

Yay! Another one!
Very pretty. I think I like this one best because of all the blue. Smiley
Great job.
I'm anxiously awaiting those action shots.

Beginning of school year resolutions: Granny-square blanket, scarf for the man, swimsuit bottoms, better organization for crafting supplies, computer case of some kind, 2 amigurumi and a pair of underwear.

Thank you thank you!
I'm pretty anxious about the action shots too...Wonder if it would be too cruel to wake my 14-year old sister up before the crack of noon (she's my photographer)?

He's just a little brought down because when you knocked, he thought you were the candyman.

Super cute! I love the ruffles. You're not the only one, I measure once, cut twice FAR too often.

This is seriously adorable!
And mega-inspiring--I might have to save up all my scraps for something like this, but I'm sure it won't be nearly as good!
