So my thought is why not do a crafty christmas swap?? All things christmas using crafty items.. like bobbins and beads and thread and ribbons.. rickrack.. pompoms.. you get the picture right?

I've been highly inspired by things I saw on blogs and Flickr this past Christmas and have a long list of things I'm already making for this Christmas for my home.  I'm making a candy-colored pompom garland to wrap around my christmas tree, some adorable little bobbin ornaments for my tree as well, a yarn christmas wreath and even some ribbon trees!

The possibilities for this swap are endless and below are some pics to give you an idea of what I was thinking of.

I hope ya'll like this.  I think it could be an awesome swap!

Here's a pic of the boatloads of pompoms I've made already for my garland

And here are some of the bobbin ornaments I've made already.  I painted plain wooden bobbins and adorned them with ribbons and rickracks and topped them off with adorable little pearly snowflake buttons!

These are two ribbons trees that I just made.. I was inspired by all of the adorable fabric trees that so many crafty ladies were making last year.

So, what do ya'll think?Huh

I love the pom pom garland and now you have me thinking of making my x-mas tree a crafty holiday delight.  I was going to go for an island theme using artificial tropical flowers for decorations and such, but now I am torn!  It does sound like a great opportunity for a swap and thanks for sharing!

This sounds like SO much fun!  Your inspirations got me thinking about all those COOL ornaments I made in grade school for my familys christmas tree!  What if we did a craft items for my christmas tree swap?  We could do like five christmas ornaments/garland and tjem we could add one other medium item (like your cute ribbon trees)!  Am totally loving this!!  Grin

I totally had pom pom garland last year and paper chains!  My tree was so beautiful last year in pinks and turquoise.  I love this idea!  And I love your ribbon trees!!
