the craftswomanship on that quilt is beautiful, and the story behind it is fabulous.  i still maintain that if everyone left me alone to do my quilting and crocheting, i'd live forever.

Incredible. A work of art!

Thank you for sharing the story and I'm so glad to hear your Aunt is doing much better now.

Unbelievably beautiful. This is my kind of quilt. Not one I would most likely make, but one I do lust for.

I really like reading all the posts about my dear Auntie.  I hope to print them out and show her what people think of her work.  She will just love hearing these comments.

W.O.W.  I kowtow to the quilting magic and inspirational determination of your aunt.  What a woman.  I hope she continues to laugh in the face of cancer.

These quilts are amazing.  What a way to heal - that's so inspiring.  I can't imagine how many hours would have been involved in the hand quilting.  Wow.

Wow, this left me speechless. That quilt is absolutely amazing. Her story is so inspiring. I have tried to hand quilt before and I just don't have the patience. Please tell your aunt that she is a phenomenal woman.
