My daughter goes to loads of festivals etc were they dress up, so i made her this medieval dress. Its in velvet with a silk type fabric for the sleeves..She looked amazing in it, specially when she had her face painted green and a headband made with flowers.

ps, as you can see my sewing room doubles up as a kitchen, lol

Really pretty! Crushed velvet? I recently made a skirt of that and it was a pain to pin and cut xD
Craftster mentality: Craft room is also kitchen. Not kitchen is also craft room. Cheesy
My craft room is also my family's dining room.

Beginning of school year resolutions: Granny-square blanket, scarf for the man, swimsuit bottoms, better organization for crafting supplies, computer case of some kind, 2 amigurumi and a pair of underwear.

That looks like a really nice dress. I love the sleeves Smiley. Any chance of an action shot?

Stop being so damned positive. Staring at the sun only blinds some one. By only looking at the positive, you miss an entire beautiful world of shadows and colors. Don't be overly negative, be realistic. The world is so much more complex and beautiful that way.

that does make things rather challenging....

going from something like this

to something like this

kind of requires someone with a camera to be physically there....

maybe she'll has a friend with a camera?
