I made this wig out of yarn, and I made a little tutorial.

Hope it helps someone!

I love your doll.  She looks like Taylor Swift except for the ears.

you did a lovely job, I've made wigs this way in the past for my bjd but never thought to offer a tut lol. (and can I add that I just love your girl she looks so serene)

I should also add if you want more realastic hair you can buy weaving hair and do the same processes that ghile shows here Smiley

She is, believe it or not, a Bobobie Sprite.  One of the cheapest BJD's.

That's a beautiful wig, Ghilie. I love the yarn you chose. Did you link this to the Poppet Along?

The bobobie sprite face sculpt is really versitile and beautiful- it's just that bobobie really sucks in the execution of the face up and body.  Her face up was done by a girl on DoA - she goes by *Meee* - and I couldn't be happier with her work.  When I got her back I immediately had to order her a better body.  I just couldn't put her on her old ugly body at that point.  So now I have a floating head until my order comes in...
