I made this i-pod cozy a few weeks ago for a friend, and just decided I'd better get pictures before it gets too dirty from being carried around (ignore the kitty hair and filth!).
I thought about entering it in the upcoming cozy challenge since it is a bit ironic, but I just couldn't wait!

I didn't have white floss to attach the center piece, and the foot of my sewing machine kept getting caught on the inner detail. After ripping out my stitching about four times (with no seam ripper!) I decided that crooked stitching might just add some character.

Any tips on sewing felt with a machine?  I'm a complete sewing novice, and had quite a bit of difficulty even keeping the seams from being eaten under the foot.  Was my tension too high?
Also, I do hope I'm posting in the proper forum, please let me know if I'm not.

very cool.
Do you have any pics that show how it cozies the ipod? I'd like to see it in action.

I sew with felt a lot, and haven't had problems. Was the problem in the ares where you were attaching three layers?
I usually think felt looks rad with hand stitching anyway.

Vampires may be very sexy. Distraction by a sexy vampire may interfere with proper use of Vampire Detector. Vampire Detector is not responsible for sexy vampires.
