I received my awesome tin from woobie the other day. She chose my pirate theme and it was so great!

Outside of tin: treasure!

Inside:

Another view of the inside:

Booty!:

Inside I found: 2 chocolate coin candies (that the boyfriend promptly confiscated), key earrings, a hair clip ala Jack Sparrow (further proof I MUST be a pirate for Halloween this year, yar!), a keychain compass (which will come in handy since I always misplace my compass while letterboxing), a little pirate code book and my favorite: sparrow pins! I am obsessed with tattoo sparrows, these are already living on my letterboxing bag!

A close up of the pirate code book:

I loved everything, thanks so much woobie!

Woobie, how in the world did you do the wood on the outside of the tin? I'm in love Smiley You're so lucky marabelle! Gorgeous tin.

Awww.. I'm so glad (relieved) you liked it.  Painting wood grain was something I've been wanting to learn for a while.  I was kinda please with how the little treasure chest turned out.

Love the pirate tin!  You did a great job on the paint.  How did you do the lettering on the inside?
I see more tins in my future!

here it is!  i got my package yesterday and absolutely adore it to death Grin

Corwin chose my homestarrunner.com theme.  for those of you who are unfamiliar, it's a website with a host of cartoon characters made by two brothers.
anyway, i got her addicted Wink.  she made a felt strongbad head, a pompom pompom Smiley, homestar and cheat shrinkydinks, and a "horrible painting", even though it didn't fit in the tin.  hehe.  the tin is also adorable.  AMAZING.

Wonderful detail around the edge:

Even the bottom is decorated:

Treasure!:

More treasure!!  A bracelet, a book mark (too cute), little pirate-y cards, a recipe, and magents (even a pic of my cat's far away twin):

Close of of the cute shrinky dink charm on the bookmark:

Cute bracelet.. my photography skills don't do it proper justice:

Thank you marabelle.. I love it all!
