so i'm an elephant freak! i collect and accept anything elephant so when i stumbled the pattern that someone posted here i decided to try it out. the only thing is that A] i can't hand stitch for shit B] idk if its the colors or what but IT LOOKS LIKE A PIG!!! anyway it was just a test run to see if i could actually make the darn thing but now that it's done, should i put eyes on it or not?

Cute. Smiley I'd go with no eyes or maybe with  small felt eyes. Where did you get the pattern? My dd loves elephants.I think she has about 60 now.

I think if you made the ears bigger it would be more elephant like. And I also agree with the felt yes. The googli eyes just don't do it for me.

alrighty i think i will make the ears bigger and just screw they eyes because i am not about to hand sew any more than i have to  Tongue

from the fron tit looks a liiiitle like a pig, but bigger ears definitely will make him more elephant, you still did a good job Wink

I'd say it looks like an elephant. Small felt or sewn eyes would look super cute, maybe even some eyelashes?

If you do eyes I would have small black eyes. Felt would work or use some buttons and one piece of thread tying the two buttons together. Pulling the two side of the head together a bit.
I would make the tip of the snout a bit smaller too or fold it a bit. Do an image search on the www.
You could braid some floss to make the tail.
It's very cute. I hope you make more.
