Since everyone that has signed up so far is requesting all their motifs in assorted colors, I edited the swap info to state that all motifs should be an assortment of colors.  After all, nobody should have to go out and buy new yarn for this project if someone were to specify a certain color.  This is a great project to use up all those little bits and pieces of scrap yarn:))

I'm a little confused on when the sign up date ends because the title says 10/13 AND 9/30.

I think that originally the sendouts were on 9/30, but they got pushed back. When bettflow updated the subject, she must have changed the wrong date. At least, that's what it looks like.

Ok, the date's been fixed.  Signup ends on 8/30 and sendout is 10/13.

Is there a country limit?  I think it sorta says yes/no on that question...

this is kinda like the yoyos i've been making... except i don't know how to join this one.  shall have to read the instructions on that and figure it out... then decide on the swap. 

are we requesting things like yarn types, like at least some wool content... cuz as much as i like red heart... it's just not so soft to the touch...even the ones that are supposed to be super soft... it still has a slight plasticy feel.

This swap is open to all countries. We're using acrylic as it is easily washable/dryable and readily available to just about everyone. It doesn't have to be Red Heart, they don't sell Red Heart here

This just might be the crochet project for me!  I really love crocheting, but my hand hurts so much after a bit of work!  I COULD make grannies daughters though and then maybe pursuade my daughter to help me put an afghan together!  hmmmmm I'll have to think about it.

Acrylics do tend to soften up some once you wash them, too.
