So, I showed The ManFlesh a thing called a Pet Peek and he had to have it.  After his new-ish fence was stained, the peek was installed.  Once I saw it installed I thought "Wreath!" and decided to make one hoping to get a picture of his dog, Olive, peeking through the wreath as a gift for xmas.  But, I decided to tell him about it so it won't be a surprise and I like my gifts to be surprises.

The ManFlesh and his ex co-parent Olive and she'll be returning to mom's in another state next week, so the pressure was on.  We'll have to try again to get good shots, because the sun was too far in the west and glared off the peek.  I had to share anyway, because making that wreath was a pain in the arse.

Blooper shot:

Pay no attention to the man behind the fence.

I love it. That does look like a lot of work. I bet if they stick their head in there in bark the noise would bother them.

Really Cute, but I can see the dog slobber as a daily clean up if your dog is anything like mine.

I've only read the book myself, which I gave her as a gift last xmas.  In fact, I didn't even know it was a movie.  Roll Eyes

Haha!  Hers faces the sidewalk.  The neighboring preschoolers love to look in on the progress of the giant artichoke plant, but she has upon occasion "laid the smack down on some passing miscreants" as her dad says.  Good times.  Tongue

ah that's so cute!!

Thanks!  Cheesy

People on TV make wreath-making look easy!  Holy milkbones!  I tried at least 4 different things (2 forms, multiple attempts at attaching) before I came up with this.  I didn't want to glue them, because I wanted to be able to use them to make dog poop later.  So, it didn't turn out as I imagined, but I think it looks kind of like thumbless Olive made it herself.  Undecided

She's not a big slobberer, so mostly it's some kind of sap that's troublesome right now.  However, she doesn't much care about some smudges, so it doesn't much matter.   Wink

How adorable! I've never heard of a Pet Peek, but it looks like fun for the pooch! I especially love the bones!

Thank you!  This is the pet peek: http://www.petpeek.info/. Although I've coated the black ring with an oxidizing copper paint to match the copper post caps on the fence for the Olive's.  The Wreath is just for pictures and will be dismantled when we finally get some good ones of Olive Through the Looking Peek.
