Beta Sigma Phi isn't a college sorority, it's an international one that anyone can join. You should look into it. I think most sororities/frats kind of end once you are out of the college experience but with ΒΣΦ you keep going to meetings/socials/parties for life.

My mom's a Beta Sigma Phi and I'm a legacy for it! I'll join someday when I stop moving from place to place and settle down for a bit.  I like that one and am already glad to be a part of it since it's different from the uni ones!

I don't have kids so I was kind of sad about the whole legacy thing until I found out my niece (12yrs) and little sister (11yrs) count as my legacies. I'm very excited about getting them involved in something like this at their ages.

Joining a sorority in college was THE BEST thing I ever did for myself - what a boost of self confidence!  I suggest it to every woman! Smiley

i was only in college for a year, but had joined ΔZ. That year was one of the best years i've ever had! The sisterhood is like nothing else you will ever experience.

Ok gals... I've been having some tech. difficulties with the page that adds the swap to your profile.  I've added members to the first page to let you know you've been accepted, but I'm waiting for resolution from the craftster help desk before I try to add anyone else to the swap through craftster.  So, if it looks funny on some of your profile pages, just give me another day.  The help desk gave me a notice that  says it could take 48 hours for resolution.  Sorry for any inconvenience!

I didn't join any when I first went to college, but now that I'm 25 I feel a little weird about joining one.

Oh! This one is exciting for me because I was just trying to figure out what I could do for my first swap that would be relatively low stress...and this is it! I always make sorority laced things for my friends (Alpha Delta Pi), so this sounded like a good option with something I'm at least familiar with! Plus, it's right when school is getting started! I think I'm in! Grin

I would join, but I've never done a swap before.

I'm so excited for this semester because I will be in a sorority! New member classes and chapter meetings start so soon! One of my best friends is already in the sorority I will be in (she kinda got me in it! It's a complicated story...I don't go to the school- I will transfer there next year- and the sorority isn't Panhellenic, so she was able to talk to other execs and they are letting me join this year!), and I love looking at all the fun stuff her big sis has made her. I can't wait to have a lil sis!
