this is AWESOME! you did an amazing job on the stitching, and i love the cupcake flowers!

thank you so much for posting it. i love how many people are identifying with it (though it's sad how many people feel badly about their bodies).

taking a nude or mostly nude photo for art purposes can be really inspiring. i took one a few years ago to use as a base for magnetic paper dolls, and i ended up using it in a bunch of artwork after that. it really makes you think differently about your body when you see it out of the context of fat=bad, society, etc, and just see it as art.

and thank you so much for the pattern! this may be the perfect project to take on my visit home to see the relatives... it might stop my grandmother from her incessant diet rambling too!

I love it.  It is brilliant as it is, but I say do the border for yourself and frame it!  It is beautiful.

I hate to say, but after my baby (9 months ago, but who's counting???) She and I could be twins! Smiley I think you did a great job! For some reason tho, I tend to like her more than the mirror image I see! Strange how self acceptance works!!

I wouldn't touch the hair! you did a great job with the coloring!! And the lettering is great too!!

Much props for all your hard work with so many youngin's running around!!!

Crocheting is like prostitution.  First you do it for love, and then for a few close friends, and then for money.  Maybe that is why they call us Hookers?
