I use acrylic paint & seal it with triple-thick clear glaze. Sometimes I hit it with a coat of matte medium first to make the sealant adhere better.

I would've totally guessed that you used One Shot. But since you didn't, I have to ask, what kind of brush did you use for your lines? They're so even. Did you use a brush with longer bristles so you don't have to dip into your paint as often?

I use paint pens (just for the really clean lines), but honestly if I wasn't a tattoo artist I wouldn't be able to bust out lines like that. Tattooing is what taught me that skill which I never had before no matter how much I would draw.

I've tried to use striping brushes but they're never as even as I'd like, and I definitely prefer to use india ink with them, but india ink is really fickle and comes out too transparent (on paper, I could never use that stuff for a project like this)

you are so freakin talented! do you take custom orders? instead of only selling things that you've rescued, you could also have ppl send in items of their own they'd like to be hit with some of your artistry. i know i have a boring purse or two that could benefit from your amazingness

I've done a few custom orders, they're probably the most fun. It's more like my day job (tattooing) because I'm using someone else's ideas to make a new thing. Kind of like two heads are better than one, does that make sense?
It's better than custom tats because the only limit to what I make is the size of the item, not my customer saying "okay I want to put together a million things for chump change, get to work!"

I use acrylic paint as well as paint pens, as they can be pretty fickle. I would LOVE it if you posted a finished bag of your own, you should do it!
