My package has arrived Smiley Now, the other two things I was waiting for came at the same time so I hope you don't mind if they're in the pics too. I was just too darn excited!

The cause of my excitement (even though I had to pay COD charges on the big heavy one... grrr...)
My snap press, package from TatteredSpider and a birthday card from my Father (with $ inside!!)

The snap press (angels singing in the background...)

My poor mutilated package. "The enclosed item of mail was either received in this condition or damaged during its processing..." Um, I'm assuming the later is the correct statement.

It was already opened...

The treasures inside...

These two fabrics confuse me... What type of material are they? What are they typically used for?

These trims are my favourite. I will probably use them on dresses for my daughter Smiley

Thanks TatteredSpider!

Next swap please....!

I use it to put polyacetal snaps on cloth diapers. I'll also be doing snaps for my friends bibs. Expensive but well worth it in the long run!

Since me and my partner, h0p31355, only live 30 minutes away from eachother, we decided to meet to exchange our packages!! We opened them there, but took them home to take pics of everything.

Where we met!

All my goodies! She really outdid herself, with the envelope she also got me this box and THAT was even filled with more stuff! Cheesy

My box that I'm soo excited to decorate!!

Everything in the box.. I'm so happy she included sponge brushes, I was using the same one for my Mod Podge for almost 3 months!

 Tons of paper!!

 My 2 favorites

I can finally learn how to crochet!

Fabric (LOVE the kitties!), a book for crocheting, and something that was really sweet of her! She went to culinary school, which is something I really want to get into and have a passion for. She included a handwritten notebook filled with info, tips, recipes, everything to do with baking and culinary arts, which is FANTASTIC! It honestly meant alot to me, as I don't actually know anyone who knows stuff about pastry arts and everything, so it was really nice to talk to someone who does!

Everything was great, and it was really cool to swap in person! THANKS SO MUCH for everything, I love everything!!

Here's my pictures of my package from Psyche! They are a little late than I had said but life with a toddler is unexpected....

onto the pics:

Pic to show how full the envelope was!

Some beautiful fabric! My fave is the striped and my sister was disappointed that there wasn't more of the pumpkin stuff, she wanted a scrub top! Wink

A huge stack of paper! I love the flowered stuff the best (so me!)

A huge stack of stickers! My son already has a bunch stuck all over the house!

Some shrinky dink paper (can't wait to use it, so many ideas!), some stamps and some beer coasters! I have never used shrinky dinks so this should be fun!

A mini jewelery kit, some matchboxes and big charms, also a box of random things! not pictured is some "mardi-gras"-ish beads that my son took off with Wink

Close-up shot of the box goodies! I love the little mugs and baskets!

Close-up of jewelery kit supplies and my very first finished fruit bracelet!! I made the bracelet as soon as I put the little monster down for his nap! It was so much fun, I can't wait to do another!

Thank you so much Psyche I love everything! I can't decide on one thing to be my favorite!! She definitely nailed all my faves right on the head!! Who's up for a round 2... Wink

And here's what I received from slingmomma!

First up, the fabric: a few bigger chunks, then the smaller pieces (which were prettily tied with a black ribbon), and then the really small pieces (still shown in their bag!)

And then we have notions - zippers, stretch stuff, bias tape, and ribbon - and a couple balls of nice soft yarn (in 2 different colours). I think the white would make an especially nice scarf.

And then we've got the "paper stuff"  - a bunch of big wallpaper samples, smaller scrapbooking papers, the baggie of more scrapbooking papers (textured paper, etc!), and some stickers too (including one Germany one for me to use in my post-Europe scrapbook!)

And finally, the bits that don't fit into those categories... we've got wooden bows (haven't decided the perfect use for these, but I'm into painting wooden things, so I'm sure I'll find it!), a Japanese bag, and a "jar of whimsies" - some pretty neat buttons (including some vintage looking horoscope sign buttons), glittery things & gems, ring watches.. and more in there!

Thanks slingmomma! It was a fun swap Smiley

Here are the goodies I recieved from Foreversandals!!! We had so much in common - it was great to swap with her!!!

First - here is all the loot together...

Here are the close-ups

Some great fabric and such cute patterns - I love the first one especially - so vintage -can't wait to make something for my little girls.

Next - are some ribbons, scrapbooking notions, lace, 2 really pretty pins, a how to knit book and some knitting needles - and best of all some buttons!!!!

And last but definitely not least - scrapbook stickers and a crochet hook holder (we decided together that we both wanted to craft an item for eachother) the holder had 3 crochet hooks and whats even better one of the hooks I don't even have yet - whoo hoo!!

Thanks once again - its been fun!!!

I'm so glad you liked everything!
I loved those patterns too. If you make your little girls dresses from them, let me know. I really want to see them!

Here's what I received from maasive.
She totally spoiled me! I love that we had so much in common. She was totally able to pick up stuff/make stuff that suits me perfectly!

All of it together:

These awesome fabrics. I love the polk-a-dots! And the cream fabric has these pretty flowers on it, and they're already cut into squares. Perhaps for my first quilt?
And there is a ball of yarn that has the greatest colors ever. [There's another ball, for some reason it didn't make it in the pic]

A bunch of scrapbooking things. A Stampin' Up idea book. A border. Gem-like stickers and are so cute! And a stamp with all these baby phrases [all of my friends and SILs are having babies!]. And some awesome papers/photo mats.

More scrapbooking paper!! And shape stickers.

An Interweave Crochet and a Stitch n' Bitch [inspiration to finally pick up those knitting needles].

This awesome hat that fits perfectly!

And finally...
The cutest little cupcake pincushion ever!

Thank you so much maasive! Its been amazing swapping with you!

And thank you so much slingmomma for organizing!
