Hey Wisconsin peeps,

two things....

#1 There is a new Milwaukee stitch n' bitch starting at the foundation bar in Riverwest in June.  They will be held on wed. nites between 7-9 ish I think.  Look for Miss. Noel B. there whom organized the event....

#2 Refer to my recent post Art vs. Craft if you're interested in participating in a Milwaukee art's & craft fair.... it's a way's away, Nov. 2004 so there is plenty of time to prep.....

Hey-
I just joined, didn't even know about this site until landing on it in a quest for a knitting pattern. This is an excellent site!!!! I was just wondering what the stich-n-bitch was all about? I have seen the book before, is it a club type thing? It would be fun to go to that. (I'll ask the other questions about it to that page!)
Yeah.. Well my story is this: I'm from Milwaukee and have been very into knitting for the past few years. I like other craft stuff as well but haven't had much of a chance (or much time) to do any.

Hey there, I just wanted to check in and add my name to the list of WI craftsters- I'm in a tiny town called Richland Center, between Madison and La Crosse--

Hey-
I'd just like to say I am also from Wisconsin, originally from northeast Wisconsin from a little town nobody has heard of, but going to UW-Milwaukee and I love it there.

I'm in Chippewa Falls. It's very near Eau Claire, about 2 hours from the cities. I go to UW-EC. I used to live in Madison, and seeing how all you cool people seem to be down thataway, I'm wishing I hadn't moved!

I'm an English major (Literature emphasis). I'm hoping to minor in graphic design, if they allow it. Or tech writing. Or whatever I change my mind to next week.
Are you at UWEC, or just curious?
