Cheesy I work at Noah's Ark in the summer and next year i'm going to UW Richland! I think it would be cool to have a craft group! Let me know if your gonna have acraft show too!

I'm in a small town that's about thirty miles away from Green Bay, Appleton, and Manitowoc. Smiley But I'm leaving later this summer for Milwaukee. Yay! Big city!

I'd just like to say I am also from Wisconsin, originally from northeast Wisconsin from a little town nobody has heard of, but going to UW-Milwaukee and I love it there.

Try me, I'm from Athelstane (Wausaukee/Crivitz area) and now live in Janesville.  I <3 NE WI.  Cheesy

I'm in Oshkosh, but during the school year commute to Whitewater (long story to go with the long drive) and I originally lived in Delavan

Living in Milwaukee, attending UWM (Sociology degree, here I come... someday!) I grew up in West Bend, about an hour north from here. If any of you are in the area June 18th, check out the Art vs. Craft show @ Turner Hall from 11-6...its the first big show for me so I'm a little nervous...I've been crafting excessively to ease the tension!

Welcome!  If you ever have a free day and a bit of money to burn, I suggest checking out House on the Rock in Spring Green.  Very strange and fascinating, if you're into that sort of thing (I know I am).

Greetings fellow Milwaukeeans and Wisconsinites,

I'm a doctoral student at UW-Milwaukee and have recently discovered the joys of knitting.  I'm hoping to find other knitters in the area.

Is there an active MKE Stitch 'N Bitch?  I'm thinking of trying an open knitting session at Ruhama's, Knitwit, or Loop--have any of you attended one?

I know Knitwit does a small one and Loop has open knit from 5-7 on Tuesdays...I've been thinking of starting one because I have at least 10 friends & coworkers who are interested...I think there's a need for it but no one actually steps up and plans it. I'm in the process of moving but once I'm settled I would love to get things going. A city the size (and hipness level) of Mke should have a dozen SnB groups!
