Ed asks Shaun while learning how to 'act' like a zombie to camouflage themselves in the zombie mob, "Who died and made you f-ing 'King of the Zombies'?"

This quote makes me laugh every time because "King of the Zombies" is a movie from 1941... Many a quote from Shaun of the Dead that make me laugh, I settled with this one, I omitted the obscene word so I can display even when my friends' children come over.

This modern sampler is done on a black cotton bandanna with the lettering and hands rising from a grave done in "Glow in the Dark" DMC floss, and the border is done in a "sea foam green" Kreinik Metallic blending filament (very fine braid).

I've done a lot of study regarding cemeteries and funeral customs in my past, and I think I'm definitely going to add more iconography of "resurrection" symbolism to this piece in the future.  (Pomegranates, palm leaves, Morning Glories, rising sun, acorns, butterflies, scarabs, wheat sheaves, and such all depict the idea of resurrection in many cultures, very fitting for zombies! LOL)

Enough talk, the images (2 photographs, 3 scans)

Human rights are for EVERYONE.  Did you know that Aung San Suu Kyi had been released from house arrest in Burma? Many other prisoners of conscience are still being detained.  Please research this topic... Amnesty International needs your help.

This is great!  I wish we could see it glowing in the dark!  I have two other things to say.
1. I can't make anything that doesn't have car hair, dog hair or both on it and
2. I'm sorry Shaun.

ROTFLMAO

This is great!  I wish we could see it glowing in the dark!

If there was a way for me to get a great shot, I would so do it, perhaps if I find a black light I can get a photo of this glowing in the dark.

...and thank you for the kind words and the statement about animal hairs!
