here we go-- first post (well, of something i made)!!:
i made this dress this spring but im waiting for fall to better wear it.... i made it from this old vintage pattern i got off ebay. it was probably one of the easiest things ive ever made. i love the shape of it and the fit but it was kinda plain so i added the little embroidered doe and fiddleheads. i cant wait to wear it more!!

this pattern was great and so easy! you should totally make something with it, i think i used "view B."
i was reminded though that vintage sizes are much smaller than todays, i had to use the size 8 options and i'm normally i 3! keep it in mind when using vintage patterns or it might turn out too small to wear...Sad

um...im not sure WHAT it was exactly, probably polyester or rayon. its the kind that doesnt wrinkle and it pretty thick. which makes it warm cuz its kinda short. Tongue
