"Papal Authority" Doll I just finished,I did all the gold embroidery by hand.Let me just say metallic embroidery thread is AWFUL to work with,and I hate my lack of embroidery skills but I'm ok with the way it turned out.I'll be posting full shots of the doll soon when I have them edited.

Thank You.I went to Christian school as a kid so I have had a HUGE obsession with Christian and catholic art so any chance I get to make something reminisce of that I do.

Haha!  When I read the title I somehow read "PayPal Authority" and then opened the link and didn't get it.

This doll is really awesome though!  Different and wonderfully moody.

What an incredible piece of work.  I know someone who would really appreciate it, he actually wrote a letter to the pope asking to be excommunicated from the catholic church because he didn't want to "be" catholic any more and his mother told him it wasn't in his hands, he was born catholic and there was nothing he could do to get out of it.   What he received back was some information on locating catholic churches in his area I think...
