Hi there,

Had no idea this existed, but found it good to introduce myself Wink My name is Chelsea.. My photo is on the left. =P (As I have no photos of crafts I've done thats all I've got for now Smiley)

Art and crafting has always been a big deal to me. My Mom used to throw birthday parties for me growing up where we would do different funky crafts. my favorite has got to be the Egyptian birthday party were we made paper mache sarcophagus' and then painted them "king tut style" in different colors and gold paints. I've always been told I'm crafty/creative but have just gotten out of the spirit of things lately, only using my creativity in the kitchen to cook.

I've recently gotten into resin jewelery. And I plan on making day of the dead art to sell on etsy soon. I made a day of the dead sculpture (a Catrina actually) of Carmen Miranda (you know the one with the tutti frutti hat?  Tongue) for my mom on one of her birthdays, and i really enjoyed it. a Catrina is something like this, http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/1b/Catrina-sculpture.jpg (no thats not what i made!-i'll try to grab a photo of it soon) basically just made mine out of clay i had from this "make your own Indian pots" or something kit in my room, shoved a ton of old pencils and "dead" pens up the base of the doll, and thru the head and neck to create some support and decorated it with various materials around the house, fruit beads from an old barbie necklace, some old papers, an old cool box missing a lid, and earrings.. etc. its one of my favorite pieces and i'll def. post photos soon!  anyways its really fun, and you cant go wrong with doing what you like, and i love the etsy community&would like to be a part of it as more than just a buyer

im in school right now for my graphic design aa, a small business certificate and general ed. next semester (19 units) but i will be done with my graphic design major! very excited.

Anyways! Learned alot from you guys, enjoy looking at all your beautiful crafts,&yeah, stuff. haha.

Please say hi! Smiley
