Hey there,

I posted quite awhile ago to see if anyone was interested in starting a Craft Mafia (www.craftmafia.com). Anyway, I started the Sacramento craft Mafia (www.sacramentocraftmafia.com) almost a year ago now and forgot all about that post. If you are interested in selling your crafts then this is the group for you!

We're also trying to put on more "hip" craft shows. Check out the events page for some fun events to attend or participate in.

Hope to see some of you soon!

Ohh No...Am I too late?  This thread seems rather old.  Anyone ever get a group started?  I'm in Citrus heights...but Sac is rather small compared to growing up in LA so a few minutes on the freeway isn't bad for me. I have many diffrent crafts I would like to attempt but don't have anyone to show me.  Like Knitting for instance, I have a sewing machine and really would like to grow in that area, but I'm also into painting, cross stitching, embroidery and attempting new crafts is something I want to try.  I think joining a group who emails and meets up once a month would be DOPE!  I just got the book Saturday night hats and I have a few other books on painting that I think would be cool to exchange.  How about trips to the thrift store?  Wouldn't that be fun?!!  Anyone out there?? Huh

I'm here!!! I'm way out in Auburn, but I work in Sac, off of Walerga, and also at 30th and C street. The Craft mafia for Sacramento met TONIGHT! I am so bummed I didn't read this thread just a few hours sooner. So, whoever is still watching this thread, I am going to the next meeting, and if you live North of Sac I am ALWAYS up for a get together!! When baby and schedule allow, that is.  Cheesy

Well, with the nice weather apporaching (actually this weekend, it's here!) I think we should have at least one crafting get-together.  I was thinking it would be fun to do like a "pot luck", go somewhere outdoors (like Fair Oaks Park) and do a craft party.  Whatever craft we decide to do, everyone bring something to craft with and maybe a snack or drink and craft away for a couple hours one fine weekend.  Anybody?  If at least four people want to take part, I think we should set a weekend and a place and start planning it  : )

This hasn't been touched in over a month, but some gals from the craft mafia are putting together a show in the SN&R parking lot on April 19th from 10am-5pm we are looking for vendors. Email me if you want in craftykaytea@gmail.com

6x6 spaces = $30
10x10 spaced = $40

Pass it on!

This thread has been up a while but hopefully people still check it now and then. I'm moving to Davis next month. I know no one there so it would be great to meet some other crafty kids in the area. Maybe someone to check out the Davis Craft Center with.

I was just sitting here watching Good Day Sacramento and saw that there is an Indi show/sale today at 24th and J Street. Too bad I didn't know sooner. Looks like I'm going to miss it.
