This is my very first post on craftster and I am very excited about it. I've been meaning to put pictures up for so long, and now I finally am! =)

This is a coffee table my amazing and talented father helped me build last summer for my first apartment. It was my first venture into carpentry, so he helped me with the actual building. Then I painted the forest on the shelf and stained the wood. I also put a black glaze over the stain because I wanted to make the table really dark.

Hope you like it! =D

That is just beautiful, your painting skills are awesome!  Love the glaze-over-stain, too.
