So I saw the cutest monster bag here on craftster, and I decided the idea was too cute to not use for my friends birthday! However, with all my pieces cut out and ready to go, I realized how much sewing was going to be involved! So this purse became my first sewing machine project EVER. I was pretty nervous! ButI decided to toughen up and just go for it! Its not perfect, but I am pretty pleased with the result:)

The lighting in these pictures is definitely not the best, so I apologize.

What d'ya mean not perfect?  It's a monster!  It would look wrong if Martha Stewart tried to make one all just so and precise!  Some things are just better when "not perfect."  Great job - and so doesn't look like your first ever machine project!
