This is my flower, inspired by www.icacandycrystal .com

Ok here goes......
It took me ages to work it out so that it would sit right. The size of the beads matters heaps! Lets see how much I can confuse you all. If you area beginner or not too familiar with 2 needle stuff you may get a tad confused but it really is easy.

It's done in the 2 needle fashion, you have to keep good tension or it will be floppy!
I used czech drops... 6x4mm and the others are about 10mm (I can't remember now and it's buried in my box for the markets)
4mm czech FP (the ones with the metallicy finish on one side)
czech leaves
czech disc bead (10mm I think) at the back.
2 needles and fav thread

Go grab your fireline or prefered thread and thread the drops, 1 big, 1 small 1 big... so on. Center them on the thread and tie the thread in a loop to hold the beads in place. Thread each end so that they are coming out of a small drop add a 4mm and go through the next small drop do that with both threads until you get right round, cross through the last 4mm added and go round them all again to make it strong. Now thread through a big dropso that your thread is coming out the back of the flower, add the disc bead and thread through a big drop on the opposite side and then back through the disc, do that with both threads to make it secure and then tie a couple of knots and thread through a few beads and tie some more knots.
Now the disc bead at the back serves a few purposes.. it covers the hole in the middle of the flower and looks pretty. It helps hold the big drops in place. You can fit a head pin through it to attach your leaves to. Alas I have no pic of the back and no camera available to take a pic, sorry.

I threaded 2 strands of tigertail through 1 of the big drops on the flower and then just added small pink drops and crystal abs. 1 bead on each strand then 1 bead on both both strands. It helps if the bead you thread on both strands fits snuggly so that it doesn't slide easy.

Confuse you enough?

ooooooooh pretty!!! How? what? I love it....how did you do the flower part? Also how do you do the floaty beads, I've heard lots of different methods, but have yet to find the "right" one.

Be what you would seem to be - or, if you'd like it put more simply - never imagine yourself not to be otherwise than what it might appear to others that what you were or might have been was not otherwise than what you had been would have appeared to them to be otherwise.
