Well, my cousin fell in love with my convertible dress (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=259357.msg2903087#msg2903087) so she asked me to make one sort ok cocktail dress with the same pattern, and this is what I made.
It has a wide A line skirt, and the top has some adjustments too, to make it with more shape.
thanks for your comments Smiley

I didnt like how is tied in this last picture, the know looks so big

you did a beautiful job, and the color looks so good on her!
I love how the material has a sheen to it, too.

owow!
that's really so elegant!

I think the back kinda looks like a small flowy tail/cape...pretty cool...and the knot doesn't look so big from the pic...

This is one of the prettiest versions of this dress I've seen!

I never would have thought to use such a lovely fabric for it, and I LOVE the yellow!

I'm looking to make this dress for my wedding and i was wondering if the material you used was stretchy? If it wasn't, did you have to do any adjustments because of that?
Thank you
Cathy

Oh it's stunning, well done. I adore the colour of the fabric you used too. What type of fabric did you use, is it stretchy at all and I'd love to know what alterations you made to the top ?
