Recently 'discovered' sewing machines and now I am addicted. I have been making clothes and bags and I want to try to make poppet sometime soon.

What a wonderful , no mess, idea!  I'm sure every mom can appreciate having an easy to use / carry / transport game for their child that they don't need to clean up afterward.

Anyone can be a friend!

Me too, me too.  I have assembled everything I need except the rice.   Time to sew...

I made a few of these for the kiddos in my life last year, but I think the person who enjoyed them most was The ManFlesh before they were wrapped up and given.  So, I've been collecting grown-up/manly doo dads (mini samurai, wine bottles, etc.) to make him one... BUT I want to use bean bag "beans" instead of rice so it will be lighter weight.  However, I don't need a GIANT bag of them (about $30) so have been trying to find a thrifted bean bag or someone willing to swap for a couple cups of "beans."

Instead of the card on a buttonhole, I would make a pocket on the back for a reference card...
