Last week I made an articulated paper doll of Odette from Swan Lake, but I felt like I needed to go a bit further.  After all, if you have an Odette you have to have an Odile.

I also thought it would be best to have a way to store the dolls, so I came up with an idea for a folder/backdrop combo.

When it's open, the inside of the folder is a miniature stage where the dolls can be posed, and when you close it it turns into a folder where you can tuck the dolls away.

I think they turned out really well! Smiley I'm going to do a set of paper dolls with a folder for the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale Thumbelina too.  I've got loads of brads, so I can really see these dolls as a thing I start to do regularly.
