!!!! Tero!  I love it!  If that's your first attempt, I can't wait to see what you come up with later on!  Nice job.

I'm not happy, I'm cheerful. There's a difference.

Here's the Grand Finale to our Pincushion Swap, and its a worthy project!

I've always loved the idea of a little English cottage...and now I have one thanks to my wonderful swap partner, jpoparock!

Note the ivy creeping up the wall and the koi in my pond!!

But wait...let's see who's home...

Oh!  It's a precious little hedgehog and he has come out to play!

J also sent a butterfly pincushion that fits around my sewing machine (how clever is that?!) but I can't post a pic until my youngest daughter gets home and tells me where she put it after jacking it to play with!! Cheesy

Thank you, jpoparock!!  I truly love it!  What a great swap!!

Ha!  I love the cottage!  Very nice!

Everyone, your creations are not just functional, but mini works of art.  Thanks for being so great!  (no flakers! yay!)

I'll be organizing another round very soon since there is a lot of interest.  I'll start sign-ups in a few days, so look for it on the swap board!

^^ I'm glad yopu like your Country Cottage! Its the type of house I'd love to live in.

That house, by the way, is a little storage box for buttons or threads and things. Its not very big but its okay for hiding loose bits

hehe ^^ Its made from two sheets of felt or rather two sets of... walls? of the house from felt. sew together on the top edge, turn insie out, and then has card in it to make it stay rigid. Then i sewwed it to the cushiony base.
