We're pleased to confirm that the first Dennistoun Craft Fair was a real success in terms of public and stallholder feedback.  And on the back of that, we will be holding Autumn and Christmas Fairs. Details are below and on the attached eFlyer.  We've had a good amount of interest for them so it's looking likely that we will continue to hold them on a quarterly basis.

If you're interested in taking a stall, there are still a few places available.  Prices stated below are for bookings made in advance with the full amount to be received before the date of the fair. Bookings can be made by contacting us at craft@dennistouncommunitytogether.org.uk or our secretary Lisa on 07734 264765.

-----

Autumn Fair

    * Date: Saturday 13th September
    * Venue: Dennistoun NewChurch Hall, Armadale Street, off Duke Street, G31 2UU
    * Stall Price: 12.50 (or 15 on the day, subject to availability)

Christmas Fair

    * Date: Saturday 29th November
    * Venue: Dennistoun NewChurch Hall, Armadale Street, off Duke Street, G31 2UU
    * Stall Price: 12.50 (or 15 on the day, subject to availability)

SPECIAL EXTENDED INTRODUCTORY OFFER

    * Book both the Autumn and Christmas Fairs in advance (before the Autumn Fair) for just 20!!!

-----

Bookings are for a six foot table, unless otherwise negotiated in advance.

Stallholders will be able to set up from 9.15am

In the event that we have we have a large demand for stalls then we may use the bigger hall at the venue which is up a flight of stairs. If you would like any further information regarding the fairs or Dennistoun Community Together please get in touch.  Based on current levels of interest, this is a (likely) scenario.

If you have any particular requirements regarding your stall (e.g. does it need to be a space next to a wall?) we will need to know this in advance.

We ask anyone who wants to display their items vertically, and have requested a wall space, to bring along their own freestanding for displaying their products as we are not allowed to attach anything or make any marks on the wall of the venue.

Provisional future dates (tbc):
Spring Craft Fair on March 7th, 2009
Summer Craft Fair on June 6th, 2009
Autumn Craft Fair on September 5th, 2009
Christmas Craft Fair on December 5th, 2009

Feel free to pass this info on to anyone else who you think may be interested, and if you would like a copy of any promotional material we produce please let us know.

We hope to see you or hear from you soon. :-)

Thanks to everybody who participated in yesterdays craft fair.  I think the upstairs hall worked better than downstairs.  It was a decent turnout for a grim day, so we are looking forward to the Christmas one on the 29th of November.  Its just really nice to have something like this is in the East End.
