I've had some requests that I write a tutorial for the treat boxes that I send swap goodies in. So...here goes.

Here's the diagram of the pieces for the box:

Using two 8 1/2" by 11" card stock, make markings as shown, using a ruler to keep your lines straight.
Score the dotted lines and cut the solid lines.
You will need to do this on both pieces of paper.
Turn one piece of paper so that the thin side is opposite.
You are going to glue the thin side on the inside of the box, so that it doesn't show. I prefer to use hot glue because it drys quickly.
Mark the place for your holes and punch them. You can add eyelets if desired.
Glue the bottom of the box closed.
Fold the top of the box as shown, and tie shut with ribbon, string or raffia.
I like to add a label describing the contents of the box and my insignia.
Stickers also make a nice touch.
