i made a ton of paper beads from scrapbooking paper strips. here's just one of them. i used a vintage metal button to fasten it, and strung it together with ribbon.

here's a vintage button bracelet i made for a going away present for a friend's wife. she liked it a lot!
it's made with elastic cord and all the buttons are the kind with the little hook-loop on the back and no holes through to the front of the button, so you can't really see how they're attached from the picture.

here's a better picture of one of the scrapbook bracelets, a few more in the background that i don't like as much, and the ones in the back are made with plastic bottle beads i made. the green beads are from mountain dew bottles, i didn't have to color them.

let me know what you think!

all i wanted was a good song and a fair friend. you came along just then. you gave me crazy love and you whispered, "you've got a bottle and nobody that you're missing."

Those are too cute! I love the button one, but the paper was my favorite. Very nice.

I like the paper one's!
Veryyy Original!

*Have you ever did the paper pieces
in a tri~angle shape, and start with
the big end, and end up rolling the smallest end last?
Gives it a thicker middle and some depth to it..
