As the title says this is my Mum's wedding cake  Smiley

Years ago I used to go to sugarcraft classes, but I stopped going as I wasn't enjoying it so much!

But, my mum got married a couple of weeks ago and she asked me to decorate her cake.

The cake was bought (I'm really not a baker!) but the flowers were made from scratch!

and a couple of work in progress pics...

I hope you enjoy!

WOW!!!  (As I pop my eyes back in my head Cheesy)  I'm so impressed by your skills, at first I thought they were silk flowers!  If you could find someone to team up with who can bake, you could make yourself a lot of money!!!  (I would have loved to have a cake like that for my wedding... Wink

Oh my goodness--you MADE those flowers from sugar? They're absolutely gorgeous--I thought they were silk or fresh from the first pic too!

thank you for everyones comments  Cheesy

they are edible, but the taste disgusting!!! the icing has lots of setting agent in and it makes them really solid so they would prob break your teeth aswell  Shocked

I don't think that I could have picked up how to make these without lessons, but once you know the techniques they are easy to apply to loads of different flowers!
