I saw these shoes for $8 and a light went off in my head!!!  OMIGOD, I must make an outfit that combines denim and rainbow fabric!!  The denim for the outfit matched the shoes to a tee!  I made the corset style top (freestyled), shirred the back and did a circle skirt with ruched fabric all over.  I made solid white bows with rainbow centers to match but she didn't have pigtails this weekend.  I made the bracelet too.  This is our little outing down to the Riverfront off the Detroit river. She had a blast!

Excuse the pictures, they're horrible and blurry cause I didn't use my good Canon.

I always look forward to your posts -- so inventive and so beautifully sewn. Fun to start with the shoes and go go go! This outfit is no exception! Thank you for sharing it.

She is rocking that outfit. Can I have just a smidge of your sewing talent? I am so jealous.
