I had purchased a case of deep gallery-wrap triangular canvases with no particular project in mind, and after staring at them awhile, decided they looked a bit like faces. Here's what they wanted to be:

ASIA - my oriental diva

EMMY - the emerald-eyed goddess

TAWNY - sista with an attitude

I painted the faces, then stapled velvet headdresses and fine mesh veils on them, and gave them real earrings and jewelry accessories. They are more than paintings, more like soft sculpture. I thought they would be cool displayed in a hair salon, boutique, or spa environment.
Now...what to do with the rest of the canvases...
