I received some etching cream from the OWS a while ago, and this is my first serious project I've completed with it.

I got the glass at the dollar store, and I stole the raindrop idea from a window pictured in the latest ReadyMade.

I'm drinking water from it at work right now. I lurve it.  Cheesy

Thats sooo cool!  Clever without being in-your-face too!  It reminds me of something you'd find in ikea  Smiley  Modifying a dollar store find is always a good time.

Thanks, everyone!

I'm definitely going to head back to the dollar store sometime before Christmas to look for etchable inspiration!

It seems that different people have an idea of what I am, and what I should be. And then there's me.

I love it!  If there is a .99 cent store near you they have an EXCELLENT selection of etchable glasswares!  Glasses, vases, mugs, my personal favorite BEER MUGS!  All for .99!  Dollar tree is good for this too Smiley

You did a really nice job.  If they have some cobalt blue glasses, I'll bet they would really look cool as a set.  I think you found a new calling.  Liza

Thank you so much! :-)

I like the blue-glass idea! Now I have a new mission! Must find blue glasses!

Very nice!  The simplest designs are always the best.

I have etched on Blue Glass, I got some Blue Pilsner Glasses from Pier 1 to etch as a wedding gift (the bride's new name was to be Moon, hence the blue glasses - Blue Moon).  Anyway, it was pretty, but did not show up very well.  There was not enough distinction between the etched & clear.
