Server Slowness Be Gone! 2/16/05

Hey everyone,

On 2/16/05 I had the web hosting company add another gigabyte of RAM to the dedicated server that Craftster runs on.

I hope this significantly improves some of the website slowness you sometimes experience here -- especially at peak times which is like 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm EST.

Let me know if you think it's helping or not.  The website does seem significantly more zippy to me!  Yay!

Leah, I definitely notice a difference.  I was getting very frustrated, especially over the past week.  It wasn't enough to keep me from being here, but!  Thanks very much for taking care of it, and for all the endless work you do to make Craftster happen.  You're not just a star, you're a supernova!

Thank you.  It's much better now.  I was noticing that when there were a lot of people on, response was slow.

Yay! I was actually spending a lot less time on craftster because I just couldn't get it to go anything. I'm glad to know we're back full steam ahead.

I hope the improvements didn't set you back too much. I trust advertising covered it, but you know, if we need another big upgrade I'm sure some of us 20,000+ would be willing to shell out a dollar or two from our thrift store stash to pitch in.
