Things I could include:
-crocheted scarves and/or hats
-natural soaps with essential oils
-dried herb sachets for drawers or to put in the dryer(makes a great little basket with the soaps and a crocheted cotton chenille washcloth)
-crocheted Mary Jane slippers
-hand made cards-stamped or otherwise decorated
-appliqued wool felt pillows or small bags
-Mod Podged  book ends
-I could easily do a crochet kit with a new crochet book, nice quality yarn, hooks, etc)

-I'm sure there are other things I can't think of now....but I'm game to try new things too.

This swap sounds amazing! I'm trying to craft most of my gifts this year and I work better with swap deadlines. The only swaps I'm going to join from now until Christmas are Christmas swaps. I think it would be fun to do a wish list where you list how many people would like the same sort of gift. Something like this:

scarves (10 people would like this)
natural soaps with essential oils/bath bombs/bath products (6 people would like this)
crocheted Mary Jane slippers (2 people would like this)
embroidered dish towels(1 person would like this)
sock monkeys (2 people would like this)
shopping bags (2 people would like this)
makeup bag (3 people would like this)
homemade makeup (2 people would like this)
wristlet (2 people would like this)
stuffies (2 people would like this)
hipslinger ( 2 people would like this)
Messenger bag (7 people would like this)
lap quilt (4 people would like this)
purse organizer (5 people would like this)
business card holders (4 people would like this)
homemade/bought stamps (4 people would like this)
buttons (6 people would like this)
Eco friendly dryer sachets (4 people would like this)
swifter covers (4 people would like this)
oven mitts (3 people would like this)
Personal hygiene case for tampons and pads (5 people would like this)
needle books (2 people would like this)
hats (4 people would like this)

I can make things like:
jewelry
cuff links
pin cushions
t-shirts
needle books
ornaments
totes
record bowls
candles
stenciled towels
hair pins
hamper bags
picture frames
embroidered art
bath bombs
Christmas shape chocolates
paintings
and lots lots more.

(I would probably spoil my partner with tons and tons of really small goodies like jewelry, cuff links (If wanted) and lots and lots of other really small things.)

Dudes, I love this...I could so give someone the hook up w/ this b/c I went way overboard w/ the after Christmas craft sales last year in preparation for this year (I'm a stocking stuffer fiend and I have bins of them - plus bins more of supplies to make them!)

I'm afraid I'll miss this when its posted!  I'm going to keep an eye out!

It might even be fun if crocheters/knitters actually made stockings to fill goodies in. Oh my I'm coming up with so many ideas!! I'm getting sooo excited.

This swap sounds amazing! I'm trying to craft most of my gifts this year and I work better with swap deadlines. I DON'T like the idea of secret Santa's because you can spoil your partner and not get spoiled back. For example I would send a ton of really small items so they would get A LOT of goodies. Instead of 6 fair sized items. The only swaps I'm going to join from now until Christmas are Christmas swaps. I think it would be fun to do a wish list where you list how many people would like the same sort of gift. Something like this:

jewelry

But you didn't say what types of things YOU would like to receive Smiley

I don't think this needs to be more difficult than it is.
We fill out the questionnaire, we are matched according to wants and talents and stick to the point system-that might mean lots of little things or a few medium things. Either way is good to me.
