Here is my second painted toilet seat. This is going in my upstairs bathroom in the new house. I painted the base purple then sponged silver over it. The design is all done free hand. I have this thing with lines lol.

Love it. Did you seal it with anything?
I've always wanted to decoupage a toilet seat but wasnt sure how well it would hold up when washed.

I seal it with the minwax water based polyurathane stuff. U can usually find it by the normal minwax wood stains. It gives it an awesome shine!

I use the craft acrlyic paints. For the lines on this one I used a paint pen cuz I can't paint a straight line to save my life lol.

I need to do something like this... Our toilet seat is a piece of $|-|!+... hehe... pun. But I wouldn't be able to, because it has nasty bumps all over it... I don't know if it's warping or... what...  Huh but you made yours gorgeous!
