I wanted to make something geeky for my boyfriend and someone gave me some free yarn.  I didn't really know how much I had, so I thought I would make this and just go until I ran out. I made up the pattern as I went along, which is why there is a little inconsistency in the numbers at first, but I don't think it matters much. It was a lot of fun to make!
