I NEED to claim Summertimerolls. Are kids are nearly the same age, sex and birth order. it's just meant to be  Grin.

I would love to make a magic wand for Olivia and a super hero cape for Ben. My kids love making "recycled crayons" so we'll add those to the package as well.

My name is Lori Brofsky and I'm from South Carolina. I'm a 37 year old stay at home mom of two. my kids are like many of ours crafty and crazy Smiley

My daughter Jordan is 7 (will be 8 in November) and started the 2nd grade on Thursday at a new school (we're trying private this year). She went from a uniform school to one without a dress code. Jordan is extremely small for her age so I can give exact measurements if clothing is to be made -she weights about 36lbs and tends to wear a size 4 bottoms and size 5 tops. She is an amazing gymnast and absolutely ADORES the Jonas Brothers (we've already been to 3 concerts). Suddenly she likes the black/white/pink or black/white/red color combination. She would LOVE:

- anything with the Jonas Brothers (especially a pendant of some sort)
- an elastic waist black knit circle skirt
- a cute hat (think newsboy style)
- arm bands (we've bought some at Claire's but they are usually too big because of her skinny arms. The kind she likes have a thumb hole and come past her elbows- she'll wear them with a t-shirt )
- she collects unusual erasers and could also use a neat container for them. she also collects unusal pencil sharpeners
- guachos (again knit with an elastic waist would be great - red or black would rock)
- anything with gynmastics
- anything with the letter J (pendants are great)
- anything magnetic for her new locker (mirror, picture frame, Jonas Brothers magents, her name magnet)
- pajama bottoms (shorts or pants - she'd love a light weight flannel or knit)

My son Jake is 4 1/2 and starts Pre-K on Monday. He's a typical boy and wears a 4T in tops and bottoms. He would love:
- anything Jonas Brothers (He's a huge fan too)
- anything with a guitar or having to do with guitars (he plays a mean air guitar)
- anything with Spiderman or Superman
- a t-shirt that says Burning Up with flames (It is his favorite Jonas Brothers song)
- a bank (we've started giving him "allowance" for simple chores)
- boy crafts (supplies, patterns, etc.) I have a harder time finding things for him than Jordan
- he loves cars and trucks, outer space and dinosaurs.
- anything with his name on it (it's hard to find just Jake items because he's not a Jacob)
- pajama pants (he's also love a light weight flannel)

I'm so grateful to anyone who claims my child(ren) and would love a letter from your child to mine if possible. My kids love getting mail and get super excited when a note comes from another kid Smiley

Debbie, thanks for creating this swap. I hope there are many future rounds.

I'd like to claim igobylorib for a "J" pendant and some cool locker stuff for her daughter.
This is my second claim, none sent, none recieved.

Hey guys!  Im Heather, and me and my family live in Michigan.  We are big into nature, living green, recycling and stuff like that.  We love to hike, and we love things inspired by nature.   Ive got a kiddo, Alexander, and hes 8.75.  He turns 9 on December 22nd.  He loves Star Wars, Naruto, Avatar, Pokemon, Harry Potter, Goosebumps books, pirates, monsters, magic, all kinds of stuff.  He LOVES to read, like crazy.  He is super athletic, and very tall.  (he is only a couple of inches shorter than me!  It is scary!)
We just re-did his room a couple of days ago. The walls are green, and the rest of the scheme is black, white, and silver/grey.  We want to give him a really nice, grown up room.  He is definitely a grown up kid.  He really really loves anything handmade.  He is the kind of kid who totally loves something more if it was made by hand. (I really lucked out!)
So heres some stuff he would LOVE:

Crocheted star wars guys: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?ref=sr_list_1&listing_id=14517559

Roll up chalkboard:
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=13706821

Sock animal

A cool wall clock for his room  thanks Patty o Furniture!!!

Little monster stuffies (not scary monsters, but fun monsters)

Bender amigurumi: http://www.wists.com/superhooker/3831462802edc3a2fe8d71021346cdfe?offset=1140

Fortune kitty!  but in more boyish colors, maybe green and blue and brown?:http://www.wists.com/superhooker/6de97cca1f7985cc9953d420ced4cb01?offset=1440

A yoda or Naruto poppet

http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=66029

A cool stenciled/screen printed/or sewn hoodie (size 12)  anything star wars, naruto, skulls, rock and roll, anything like that would be awesome!

A stuffed octopus with long tentacles (hed love something big enough to be huggable)

A case for his leapster L-max.  We need something to travel with.  It can be just a large padded cosmetic bag, but it would need to have a pocket to keep the little game cartridges in it.  Ill get dimensions if anyone is interested.

A lunch bag for school (cleanable would be awesome!) like this one, but not flowery:
http://tumblingblocks.net/blog/index.cfm/2007/7/31/oilcloth-lunch-bag

A big library tote, maybe in a solid color, or a stripe, or some kind of nature-inspired fabric, hes big into being a grown up right now!

A hanging pocket organizer in black/white/silver/green, to hang in his room:
http://www.burdastyle.com/patterns/show/1583

A soft guitarhe would totally go insane for something like thishe wants to either be a JedI or a rockstar when he grows up:  http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=12692805  Any of them at this site rock!

A cool wall quilt or artwork.  The color scheme of his room is green, black, white, and silver/grey.  He loves anything with a skull on it, or flames, or a guitar. Thanks craftydeb!!!!!

And my sister in law is having a baby this summer.  She thinks it will be a boy, but were not totally sure yet.  Her favorite color is baby blue, though, so baby blue would work for a girl too!  Shes kinda into blingy stuff.  This will be her first baby, so she doesnt have any hand me downs sitting in boxes, and heres some stuff  Id love to giver her:

I claim patty_o_furniture for name stamps and dress-up stuff for her girls.

This is my 2nd claim, 1 sent, none received.

I'm a university student, mother of a 16-month old boy. We live in a Bavarian town in Germany. We are big time computer geeks, so he is more a fan of machines than of animals. Right now tractors are his favorite, followed closely by cars of any sort. We also love to craft together (which basically means getting terribly messy) and make music (another favorite pastime). He wears a 2T.

What I'd like to have for him:

* A criss-cross apron/smock type for crafting (like this: http://www.wists.com/kianee/c56c56d71bb4a22cddb1e016b32ab3c9?offset=0 or this http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=264836.0), because I can't figure out for the life of me how the pattern is supposed to look like
* crayon roll
* self-made musical instrument that rattles, goes 'bump' or is otherwise fun for a toddler
* I Spy with fewer, but larger things to discover
* jumpsuit or overall
* hat with ears thank you superhooker!
* rainy day box (with activity ideas/crafting projects for a toddler)
* family tree picture to hang into our bedroom
* car-themed fridge magnets
* decorated long-sleeved shirt robot/machine/circuit board/car/bird themed

Supplies:

* watercolors, crayons, paintbrushes. Stuff to get messy with
* soft lightweight hemmed fabric for hide-and-seek
* we'll be happy to take old board books as well

Okay - we are doing great! There are a few stragglers that have not sent yet but all in all doing great!
For those still crafting, get a move on! Cheesy
For those that have received and you have not pm'd me - please do so - it will release your partner from the swap...!
For those that have received and didn't post pics in the gallery - what are you waiting for?? Grin
For those that sent and it's been about a week since your partner received please post up pictures - we are dying to see what you sent - I am sure your partner will not mind!  She can add action shots later Wink  We just love our galleries here in swap land!

It's been a great swap. I'd like to get tidied up on page 1 of the swap - check to make sure your information is correct.  If it is not, I will not be offended if you drop me a little note to give me a gentle push Wink  It's all good.  Life is hectic and sometimes things just get forgotten.  I do try to keep up on all the sending info but sometimes things just slip through the fingers, ya know?
