I couldn't find any shower curtains that I liked. So I decided to stencil one that I had. This was my first stenciling project. At first I tried wax paper, but it didn't stick when I tried ironing it on. I changed to ironing the wax paper stencil on with stitch witchery. The stitch witchery residue was very difficult to remove and I wasn't able to clean it all off( the stuff around the "conserve"). I then tried normal paper, which bleed and didn't leave clean lines. Finally I just traced the outlines of the images on the fabric and filled them in. whew. It was one of the most frustrating projects I've done lately. The whole thing says "conserve water. shower together." and pictures two birds Smiley

as a tip you cant iron wax paper onto fabric, what you want is freezer paper
contact paper works well too since its sticky on one side

Even with all you went through it turned out great.  I'm all for conserving water.  Thanks for sharing your process and feedback.
