So, being envious of the yarn bucket, and having extraneous, yet -awesome- pants hanging around my house, and needing something to go to spinning group with other than a paper grocery sack (seriously, everyone has these adorable baskets, and me, I've got a grocery bag...   Sad -however, I am not the sort of person who could own an adorable basket...), finally, I decided (um, sort of late Saturday night, it all came together) to make a bag that is all about [the thinner, flashier person] I used to be.

Started with two pairs of (outgrown) pants.  Cut them up, cut out the crotch, got them to lie fairly flat with cutting and sewing down the hips... added in the legs to make it wider.  Then put both the lining and then the outside over a big pot to shape the bottom- more cutting and sewing.  You know, vinyl ain't the easiest material in the world to work with... and the hand stitching... it's kinda what I imagine living flesh would be like to sew... only less forgiving.  Tongue

The lining wasn't quite long enough to meet in the center.  But, what a perfect place for my Hole patch.   hmmm.  I'm not sure if that's a joke?  Roll Eyes

You know these pants were awesome because they have so many pockets.

The handle is a strap from my old bondage pants.  Wink
