Hello everyone

so I saw these shirts on American Apparel
and I thought they were fantastic! But, me not willing to pay $43 !! for a t-shirt, I've been looking up how to get ahold some of this dye, or ink, to print my own shirts

so far, what I've found is this Matsui company, which makes all the thermochromatic dyes that it seems most clothing companies use:
but I cannot for the life of me seem to find a supplier anywhere that will sell this to a small customer! Actually, I can't find anyone selling it, period.
Does anyone know of anywhere, preferably in Canada or perhaps the states, which sells this ink?
Or any other type of dye, or techniques, to achieve thermochromaticness?

It would be pretty cool if we could figure out how to do this, and bring back the 80s with these shirts!

i own one of these shirts and it is quite awesome. i wish i knew a way to dye or use it as a screen print because that would be much more fun. but i would definitely not recommend paying the money for it from AA, mine was a gift. good luck in your search!
