This was the fourth of July cake i did

this one of my floral cakes

a closer look at the sugar flowers

Well i hope you like them. i have more pictures but i don't have them on the computer.

 Shocked WOW...the fourth of july looks awesome! How did you make the stripes so perfect? What is the topping? Looks like coconut shreds to me, if I'm correct.

Thank you for the compliment. The way i did the strip was i got a piece of parchment paper and with a ruler i measured and drew lines. then i wrapped the parchment paper and went around the cake and marked were the lines were. the cake has to have a thin layer of icing to make  the indentation. and then with buttercream icing i pipped the stars on the cake. No coconut was used. its all icing. hope i explained that well enough. But thank you again.
