I made these for both my mother-in-law and my mom for Christmas last year.  The frame was a bulletin board (already decorated) from HomeSense and I purchased 3 (cheap) scrabble games to get enough letters for both families.  The letters and the game board are all attached with hot glue.  It was very simple to create.  I've actually been looking for another frame similar to make one for myself but haven't found any yet.  I may have to improvise something!

My mother in law is a Scrabble fiend so a couple of Christmas's ago we made something very similar to this but with pics of the grandkids, "Gramma",  and their names.  She loved it, wish I had taken some pics of it.  We also made her a name plate for her desk with the tiles and a tile holder and earrings with her initials, then alphabet magnets for her fridge with the leftover tiles.  Worked awesome!

I love that yours is kind of family treeish, very nice!
