Im moving into an apartment come september with three other girls for our sophomore year of college and a few weeks ago we met up for a shopping trip to target to get necessities. well as we were looking around we came across this adorable set of candles. they were three square shaped glass holders, about 3in tall, that were kind of silver with black lettering, each saying Live Laugh and Love. well we all loved them, but being in college didnt want to spend the $20+ on it.

of course being a craftster i decided to go to Michael's and make my own for under $7 (including 9 refill candles)

and heres my work space after...

hopefully they are pleasantly surprised with my cheap little version Smiley

So cool! And that's the exact same three words (in the exact same order!) that I try to live my life according to. Ahh, great minds Tongue

Did you paint on the words or stick on cut outs?

i painted them both on. I used the vinyl shelf liner to create stencils to keep the lines as crisp as i could. I didnt want to use anything except the paint made for glass since theres going to be a candle inside incase stick ons or other paint would burn or something haha

You did a wonderful job, the lines certainly are crisp and the lettering is perfect!
